How are you taking it?
Edibles behave so differently from everything else — slower, longer, easy to overdo — that they get their own path. Pick where you're headed.

The edible path.
Because edibles are slow and strong, we're extra careful here. Tell us a little — all optional.

The edible trap: feeling nothing yet doesn't mean it isn't working. Most rough nights come from taking more before the first dose arrives. Set your dose, then give it the full window.

Let's pause here.

Based on what you shared, it's best to talk with a clinician before using cannabis — this tool can't build a safe plan in this situation.

Why this dose?
What's a "standard puff"?
Cannabis research standardizes a puff (the Foltin procedure) so doses are comparable. Here's that rhythm:
Ready
Inhale ~5s, hold ~10s, then release.
1Draw size matters. A light ~35 cc puff vs a big ~70 cc draw can roughly double the THC you pull in — same "one puff," very different dose.
2Holding longer won't get you higher. Your lungs take in almost all the THC they're going to in the first few seconds. Holding past that doesn't add to the effect — it mostly just makes you cough.
3Smoking wastes more than vaping. With combustion, ~25–30% burns off and ~40–50% drifts away as side-smoke — only ~20–37% reaches you. Vaping preserves more.
